PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya NER Bareilly takes pride in being one of the premier Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Lucknow Region. Established in 1987 under the aegis of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India), it is a Civil Sector school sponsored by the North Eastern Railway (NER). Spanning a lush, 10-acre campus, it has consistently met the educational needs of local children, with central government and railway employees benefiting immensely from priority admissions.

At the senior secondary level (Classes XI and XII), the Vidyalaya accommodates student career paths by offering two Science streams and one Humanities stream.
